Terms and Conditions
Article 1 – What do we mean?
In these terms, Metiezly means:
"Additional Terms"
These are the agreements and rules that apply when you buy from Metiezly.
"AVT"
The General Terms of Thuiswinkel, as listed on the Metiezly website.
"Consumer"
You, the private customer, ordering for personal use – not on behalf of a business.
"Metiezly Collection"
All our digital card designs.
"Metiezly Website"

Article 2 – Ownership of ideas, images and designs
Everything you see from Metiezly – like our logos, designs, images and texts – belongs to us or our licensors.
You're only allowed to use our materials with written permission.
That means: no copying, editing, or reusing for other products.
Have you purchased a card from us?
Then you may absolutely share or forward it as often as you'd like.
But please note:
You may not change the artwork
You may not remove our logo
You may not use the design for new or commercial products
If you add a photo or text yourself, you're responsible for having the right to use it.
If someone else files a complaint about your content, Metiezly is not liable.
Everything on our website and in our collection remains the property of Metiezly or our partners.
Article 4 – Payments at Metiezly
You pay safely through our payment partner Stripe.
Available payment options:
iDEAL (for customers in the Netherlands)
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
PayPal, via Stripe Connect (only with a PayPal Business account)
Promo codes
These are valid once, unless otherwise stated
Often cover the full order amount
No extra costs will be charged for using a code
You can combine payment methods, as long as the total adds up.
Article 5 – Promo codes and gifts
We love surprising you at Metiezly!
We regularly give out promo codes for a free card bundle.
Each bundle contains five digital cards worth five euros.
You might receive a code via:
our newsletter
goodie bags or gift packages
special action cards
Each code is personal and usually valid only once, unless stated otherwise.
Promo codes are often valid for any card set, unless a specific bundle is listed.
Once applied, your order is completely free – no extra charges.
Please note: codes are valid only during specific time periods.
They can't be used on past orders or exchanged for cash.
If a card bundle is sold out, the code may expire.
In case of misuse or fraud, we may deactivate your code.
Receiving previous discounts doesn't entitle you to future ones.
We may adjust, pause, or cancel promotions at any time.
Article 7 – Ordering and delivery
At Metiezly, your card bundle is delivered straight to your inbox.
Usually everything goes smoothly, but sometimes something goes wrong.
If that happens, we’ll contact you as soon as possible by email.
We may cancel or pause an order if:
there's a price or description error
you accidentally placed the same order twice
your payment is declined
we suspect fraud or misuse
you used a promo code outside the valid period
your email address is missing or incorrect
or if your order goes against our terms
We do our best to deliver quickly and correctly.
But if something goes wrong, we cannot always be held responsible.
rticle 8 – What can and can't you personalize?
At Metiezly, you can only personalize the text on your card.
Design, layout, and images are fixed – that’s how we ensure high quality.
Please note:
Keep your message short and clear – long text may overlap the design
Keep it kind and respectful
We may decline or edit messages that are offensive, illegal, or inappropriate.
If you don't follow the rules, Metiezly may:
cancel your order
block your account
pause delivery if required by law or authority
Article 9 – Product updates
Sometimes, we need to update a product.
This might be due to legal changes or small technical improvements.
Don’t worry – these updates won’t affect how you use your cards.
Article 10 – Right of withdrawal
At Metiezly, your card bundle is delivered immediately and is ready for use.
Because it's a digital and personalized product, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply.
This follows the Thuiswinkel terms (articles 10.7 and 10.8).
We do this to avoid misuse – downloading and then cancelling.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us. We're happy to help.
Force majeure – Unexpected delays
Sometimes delays happen due to things beyond our control, such as:
natural disasters, pandemics, power outages, government restrictions, or conflict.
If that happens, we'll contact you right away.
And of course, we’ll do everything we can to minimize the delay.
Article 13 – Your review, your voice
We love it when you share your thoughts about Metiezly.
Whether it’s on Trustpilot, by email, or a message –
we deeply appreciate it and it helps others too.
By sending us a review, you give us permission to share it.
We may use it on our website, in our newsletter or on social media.
Sometimes we’ll shorten, translate or adjust the wording –
but always respectfully.
By submitting a review, you confirm that:
you are the original author
your review is honest
you are 18 years or older
You’re okay with seeing your review shared?
We hope it makes you just as proud as it makes us!
Please don’t post reviews that:
are misleading or false
include private information
break any laws
violate someone else’s rights
are offensive, harmful, or hateful
promote discrimination or violence
impersonate someone else
link to other websites
include inappropriate or sexual content
threaten or harass
comment on other reviewers
Metiezly may decline or remove a review if needed.
What about your email?
If you submit a review and leave your email address,
we may contact you about your review.
We never share your information without your permission.
Please note: we are not responsible for how third-party platforms handle your data.
Article 14 – Your privacy
We treat your data with care.
Metiezly processes your personal information according to our Privacy Policy.
Article 15 – General terms
Metiezly may update these terms from time to time.
If we do, we’ll publish the new version on our website.
Each rule in these terms stands on its own.
If one part becomes invalid, the rest still applies.
Article 16 – Applicable law
All agreements between you and Metiezly are governed by Dutch law.
Do you live in another country?
Then your local law may apply, if required by mandatory regulations.
